The Vestry
The basic responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation and support the church's mission by word and deed. They oversee the business matters of the church and its property, select the rector and manage resources and finances. The vestry is the legal representative of the parish with regard to all matters pertaining to its corporate property. Nine people elected by the congregation form the vestry. Three vestry members are elected each year to serve a three-year term.
